De Canon XA65 Professional Camcorder is een compacte camera waarmee je in HD tot 60fps kunt filmen en die goed presteert bij weinig licht door de 1/2.3" CMOS Sensor.
De camera beschikt over een 20x optische zoom/groothoeklens van 29,3 mm, f/1.8-2.8. De camcorder beschikt over optische en elektronische beeldstabilisatie.
De XA65 beschikt over een dual sd card slot en de top handle bar is afneembaar, waardoor je de camera nog compacter kunt maken. De Canon XA65 heeft naast een ingebouwde microfoon, twee XLR-aansluitingspunten om externe microfoons mee aan te sluiten.
De camera heeft een afmeting van 10.9 x 8.4 x 18.2 cm en weegt 750g.
