La RED Komodo est une caméra Super35 compacte de RED, équipée d'un capteur 27,03 x 14,25 mm (6144 x 3240) à obturateur global.
La caméra offre une plage dynamique de 16 arrêts et produit de magnifiques fichiers bruts R3D et des couleurs vives. Elle peut enregistrer des images au ralenti 6K jusqu'à 50 ips en écran large. Grâce à sa monture RF et à son autofocus, la RED Komodo est idéale pour une utilisation sur un gimbal.
Avec son obturateur global, la caméra fournit des images nettes en haute résolution sans effet de rolling shutter, ce qui la rend parfaite pour les prises de vue avec des mouvements rapides, comme les sports.
Enfin, la caméra ne pèse que 1 kg et mesure 10,2 x 10,2 cm.
