Die EOS C70 ist die erste Kinokamera von Canon mit einem RF-Anschluss. Die Kamera verfügt über einen 4K Super 35MM DGO-Sensor (Dual Gain Output) und nimmt bis zu 4K 120fps in verschiedenen Codecs auf.

Durch den Dual Gain Output-Sensor hat die C70 einen beworbenen Dynamikumfang von bis zu 16 Stopps. Dies ist möglich, weil das DGO-System zwei separate Verstärkungswerte für jede Fotodiode auf dem Sensor kombiniert und so das Rauschen reduziert.

Die Kamera ist kompakt, leicht und dank der einfachen Menüführung und des Touchscreens von Canon leicht zu bedienen. Darüber hinaus verfügt die Kamera über einen integrierten Nd-Filter und einen HDMI-Eingang in voller Größe. Damit ist die C70 perfekt für Hobbyfotografen.
