Die Sony a9 III ist eine spiegellose Kamera mit dem weltweit ersten Global Shutter, die für Sport, Wildlife, Fotojournalismus und mehr entwickelt wurde. Mit ihrer fortschrittlichen Sensortechnologie hebt sich diese Kamera von der Norm für Vollformataufnahmen ab. Sie bietet Serienbildaufnahmen mit bis zu 120 Bildern pro Sekunde und Blitzsynchronisation bis zur maximalen Verschlusszeit von 1/80.000 Sekunden. Die Kombination aus dem 24,6-MP-Sensor, dem leistungsstarken BIONZ XR-Prozessor und der AI Processing Unit von Sony ergibt ein reaktionsschnelles und zuverlässiges Kamerasystem, das die Erwartungen derjenigen erfüllt, die eine solide Leistung suchen.
Der Global Shutter-Sensor der α9 III sorgt für einen verzerrungsfreien Bildausdruck sowohl bei Videos als auch bei Standbildern. Dies macht es den Entwicklern leicht, Bilder von z. B. Landschaften aus einem sich schnell bewegenden Auto heraus aufzunehmen. Diese Kamera ist die erste in der Alpha-Serie von Sony, die 4K 120p-Videos mit hoher Bildrate ohne Beschneidung aufnimmt. Darüber hinaus ist es möglich, mit der α9 III hochauflösende 4K 60p Videos mit 6K Oversampling aufzunehmen.
