Das Sennheiser ME 66 Supercardioid Shotgun Microphone Head ist ein besonders leichtes Kondensator-Richtmikrofon (Shotgun Mic) mit einem Gewicht von nur 65 Gramm. Es wird in Kombination mit einer Mikrofonkappe und einem Totschläger geliefert und ist somit auch für Außenaufnahmen geeignet.

Das K6-Power-Modul sorgt dafür, dass das Mikrofon auch ohne Phantomspeisung (Phantom Power) verwendet werden kann. Das ME66 ist ein Super Cardioid/Lobar-Mikrofon. Sein Dynamikbereich beträgt 125 dB.
