Das MiniCMIT von Schoeps ist ein kompaktes professionelles Richtmikrofon für Film, Fernsehen und On Location, das sich durch ein sehr niedriges Grundrauschen von nur 14dBa, einen Frequenzbereich von 60Hz bis 20kHz, eine niedrige Impedanz von 100 Ohm und einen maximalen Schalldruckpegel von 130dB auszeichnet und auch in kleineren Räumen eingesetzt werden kann, ohne dabei Kompromisse bei der Klangqualität eingehen zu müssen.

Das Mikrofon hat eine Supernierencharakteristik, dadurch nimmt das Mikrofon den Schall hauptsächlich  vorne auf.

Außerdem hat das Mikrofon eine Kondensatorkapsel, dadurch benötigt das Mikrofon eine Phantomspeisung, diese kann 12V bis 48V Phantomspeisung sein.

Zuletzt ist das Mikrofon nur 21 x 151 mm groß und wiegt 78 Gramm.
