The Tiffen 4x4 4-point/3 mm grid Star filter creates multiple licht sources or ‘stars’ that shine out from the central light source. This can give a scene’s lighting a more shiny, glamorous look. The effect is produced by a series of thin lines that are etched into the flat optical surface of the 44STR43 filter. In general, mid-sized to larger apertures are sufficient for a nice starry effect. Please test before essential situations!
