The Tiffen 4 x 4 “Black Pro-Mist 1/8 filter slightly reduces highlights and contrast. This filter is especially suited to softening facial wrinkles and other imperfections. Although designed for cinema, you can also use the filter for beauty and fashion. Other than traditional diffusion or soft focus filters, the Pro-Mist filter has little loss of detail. The 1/8 density produces a small contrast and highlight reduction and creates a soft, pastel light quality.
