Review: Sony A7sII

25-11-2015 By Dirty Paws Media Reviews

The Sony A7sII is Sony's new low-light monster. But is this Camera indeed a big leap forward from the original Sony A7s?

Dirty Paws Media went out with the Camera to find out. They made the following video review of it:

Thanks to the new 5-axis stabilised sensor, you can now shoot a tight picture even with a non-stabilised lens. Moreover, you can now record at 4K without an external Recorder at up to 25fps/100Mbps.

In Full frame, you can shoot slow-motion up to 100 frames per second, and thanks to S-Log3, you get an even flatter result from the Camera than with the S-Log2 function from the original A7s: ideal for colour correction.

Finally, lowering the native ISO from 3200 to 1600 means you're less likely to need an ND filter during the day.

In short, a big improvement over the Sony A7s.
