The advice by telephone and also at the desk regarding compatibility of rented equipment testify in my opinion to craftsmanship. It is a pity that there was no real manual for the gimbal so that I had to find out via the internet about the operation and functions.

Due to an unfortunate damage (sea water) within a few minutes without equipment. Normally not a problem, but had just promised to photograph a good friend's wedding. Fortunately, there is a lifesaver. BUDGETCAM !!! Super service, you can pick up the reserved equipment the day before at 4 p.m. and return it the day after rental before 11 a.m. Very nice if you are often busy all day. I rented the Fujifilm X-T3. Device works fine, looks neat. Very new equipment. Rented complete with bag, 2x battery, 2x Scan disk extreme memory card, card reader and body cap of course. Everything neatly labeled. I don’t know hat they could do any better!
Ordered two boom arm's (2 meters) + directional microphone for an interview shoot. The boom had to be on c-position with gobo head, but this did not fit unless it went around the tube itself. You cannot assemble it without tools because once clicked together you have to press in metal catches to release it, this can only be done with pliers or screwdriver, etc. All in all, a rather awkward thing to do. Budgetcam tried to think along with the collection, but fear that a better product will have to replace it.
Amsterdam Noord: excellent service, price, friendly staff and everything went so smoothly. I got for a couple of days the new Nikon Z6 and not only the equipment was in perfect conditions, almost new, but it came with all the necessary extra accessories. I will come back and I will definitely recommend budgetcam to other filmmakers or photojournalist colleagues.
