I am extremely satisfied with the service from Budgetcam, both from the planning and the staff at the pick-up point. They helped me with the right equipment that made my shoot a success!
Creating an account was doable. Renting was easy, the lens looked neat and worked well. The collection and return went smoothly and friendly. The rental prices are very reasonable. All in all, enough reasons to rent something more often.

This was my first introduction to budget cam, but definitely recommended. Everything neatly taken care of, good communication also in terms of emails. And for me the ideal way to test a camera first at a favorable price! (I needed it on Saturday so I could test it for a whole weekend for the daily price) Pay attention to the address in the e-mail, otherwise it will be difficult to find. There is a building and unit number next to the regular address. That is important to be able to find it easily.
Great help with the rented stuff! Everything was neatly ready when I came to pick it up. Also neatly in advance an email that everything was ready! Very nice. Equipment fine! Unfortunately I did not check with me whether everything was complete when returning. Later I received an email that a CF card and a card reader were missing. I was sure I had put it in the bag, but turned everything upside down. After a phone call it turned out that it was really not there, but at home I could not find anything and I was really sure that I had handed it in. I was in touch again by telephone (by the way, I was neatly spoken to) and there was even talk about compensation for the missing products. Halfway through the afternoon a phone call that the items were found. It went wrong due to an internal error. Tip: always check the returned equipment with the customer! That prevents these kinds of scenes!
Unfortunately the flash did not work. The Auto Beam didn't work, so I couldn't focus in the dark. This was very difficult because I had a club photography shoot. In the end I had to flash manually, but unfortunately I have a lot of failed photos. Last time I also got a cap over the flash, this time not. Service was otherwise good! Also indicated with hand in that the flash did not work. He also said immediately that this must be a defect and not my fault.

The rental of the lens was ok, but I was unpleasantly surprised by the high deposit and the fact that it would not be refunded to my account until a few days after returning it. Now we have to wait and see how many days ....
Hi Har, I see that the deposit has already been returned. For the next time it is better to pay per Ideal, this will be a lot faster in terms of deposit.

Always friendly and helpful if I have a question in advance, so that I rent the right equipment. Also nice that complete sets are always provided: you can get started with them, including full extra batteries and even chargers (never really needed, batteries enough for the day.) And pick-up and return is nice and easy - then a quick invoice in the mail - ideal.
Most of the gear was fine, only I received third party batteries with the Sony A7III, one of which suddenly stopped with 20% left during a shoot, so that a take could be completely canceled.
Good website which makes booking very easy. Good service. Even got a message that the items had already arrived and were ready to be picked up. Very satisfied! The next reservation has already been made.
