The Rode NTG1 Shotgun Microphone is a directional microphone designed specifically for capturing sound in film, television and voice-overs. Despite its rugged design, the microphone is remarkably lightweight, making it perfect for use with a video camera. The NTG1 features a Super Cardioid directivity and has a built-in high-pass filter (80 Hz, 12 dB/octave). With a dynamic range of 121 dB and a power supply of 24 to 48 V (phantom power required), the microphone weighs only 105 grams.
