The Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG HSM Art L Mount is a wide and fast wide angle lens part of the highly acclaimed Art series, part of Sigma’s Global Vision series. The lens is characterized by its advanced optical construction and robust physical design. The combination of three “F” Low Dispersion (FLD) elements and four special low dispersion elements visibly help to reduce chromatic aberrations. A number of aspherical elements - including one positioned at the back of the lens - eliminate all kinds of distortion and aberrations.

The optical design with 15 elements in 11 groups is ready to produce consistent peripheral brightness and sharpness, even with the fast f/1.4 maximum aperture. The lens also has Super Multi Coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and better color fidelity. In addition to the optical performance, the lens has an equally advanced Hyper Sonic motor for fast, smooth and near silent autofocus performance. This focus motor enables full-time manual focusing at any time by turning the focus ring, for refined manual operation.

The 9 rounded aperture blades contribute to shallow depth of field techniques for an appealing blurry quality.
