The Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2 is a fast and simple tool that lets you connect a camera or other recording device for livestreams and direct recordings. By connecting the device to your Mac or PC using USB and your camera’s output, the Magewell can transmit a signal up to 1920x1200 in 60 frames per second using the HDMI v1.4a input. This also puts less load on your computer, because conversion and interlacing is performed by the device itself. Your computer will recognize the signal as a webcam, so there is no need to install extra drivers.

The signal is immediately compatible with all streaming software.
