The Laowa 12mm F/2.8 Zero-D (Sony E) is a full-frame ultra-wide-angle prime lens designed for the Sony E-mount. With an impressive angle of view of 121.96°, this lens is perfect for capturing expansive landscapes, architecture, and interiors. Thanks to its rectilinear design, straight lines remain completely straight, even at the edges of the frame.
The optical design consists of 16 elements in 10 groups, including two extra-low dispersion elements, two aspherical elements, and an ultra-high refractive index glass element. This combination minimizes distortion, chromatic aberration, and lens flares for sharp and clean images.
The lens features a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and 7 diaphragm blades, allowing for a pleasing background blur and full creative control over exposure. The minimum focus distance of just 18 cm enables close-up shooting and interesting perspectives.
Thanks to its compact design and lightweight construction, the Laowa 12mm F/2.8 Zero-D (Sony E) is a practical lens for photographers on the move who want maximum image quality with versatility.
