Canon XF605

The Canon XF605 is a professional UHD 4K HDR camcorder designed for ENG, broadcast, live and documentary productions where speed, reliability and high image quality are essential. Thanks to its 1-inch CMOS sensor, the camera delivers excellent image quality with improved low-light performance, natural colour reproduction and a wider dynamic range compared to camcorders with smaller sensors. The powerful DIGIC DV7 processor enables 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit recording, providing detailed images, smooth motion and extensive colour grading flexibility.

The integrated 15x optical zoom lens offers a versatile range from wide-angle to telephoto, allowing flexible operation from different shooting positions. Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Eye AF and EOS iTR AF X provides fast and accurate focusing, while the built-in optical image stabilisation and three integrated ND filters help maintain stable images and consistent exposure in changing lighting conditions.

The XF605 supports various recording formats and colour profiles, including XF-AVC, MP4, Canon Log 3, HLG and PQ HDR. With connections including 12G-SDI, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi, the camera can easily be integrated into multicamera setups and live production environments. The two SD card slots support simultaneous and relay recording, while the two XLR audio inputs and built-in microphone provide professional audio recording options.

The compact and ergonomic body features dedicated focus, zoom and iris rings for direct manual control while filming. With its extensive connectivity and professional recording features, the XF605 is suited for productions where mobility, reliability and image quality are key.
