The latest lens of Canon’s holy trinity is the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM, a full frame EF mount lens. The F2.8 aperture with 8 blades is perfect for photographing and filming in low light. It also gives the lens a spherical bokeh.
The lens uses a fluorite element and five UD elements to suppress chromatic aberrations and color fringing for a high clarity over its full zoom range. An Air Sphere Coating reduces flares and ghosting for a higher contrast and improved color fidelity.
To complement the bright optics, the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L III is equipped with a 3.5 stop optical image stabilization that enables high-quality handheld photography and filming.
The lens has a filter size of 77mm and weighs 1480g. The lens consists of 23 elements in 19 groups. The dimensions are 88.8 x 199 mm. The angle of view is 34° to 12°.
